The Practical Magic of Mindfulness

Mindfulness is being non-judgmentally aware of self, others, and circumstances in the present moment and fully engaged in the here and how. Simply put, mindfulness is being aware of yourself, others, and your surroundings right now. When consciously and kindly focusing awareness on life as it unfolds minute by precious minute, you are better able to savor each experience.
Mindfulness is paying attention.
Mindfulness nestles us in the magic of now and, as a result, allows us to engage with and enjoy what is good, true, and beautiful in the present moment. If it appears there’s nothing good, true, or beautiful in the current moment, mindfulness helps neutralize inner and outer chaos and allows us to settle into the strong, steady center of our being that knows.
